Kier Moss has just completed its £43m project for City College Coventry's new campus.
The two buildings form one of the first parts of Coventry's Swanswell Initiative, a £600m regeneration programme for the area. The buildings draw together three separate college centres from across Coventry and include a multi-storey car park, funded by Coventry City Council. The car park is set to the rear of the new college development and provides secure parking for 453 cars in the city’s new Learning Quarter.
Commenting on the completion Kier Moss Managing Director Robin Butler said: "This is another excellent example of how effective collaboration between employer, contractor and our supply chain can deliver complex, high quality buildings on time and within budget."
The final phase of the college, which was handed over some four weeks ahead of programme, has been nominated by Coventry City Council building control department for the West Midlands Built In Quality Award. The project is currently short-listed for this award.
