Savills has recently been appointed by Strategic Sites to let the office element at its Waterfront Quarter scheme in Huddersfield.

The £175 million mixed-use regeneration project will be built on a six acre site near the town centre, which is bounded by Chapel Hill, Manchester Road and the River Colne.

Waterfront Quarter has already received planning consent for the 750,000 sq ft scheme, which will comprise up to 180,000 sq ft of modern, BREEAM 'excellent' rated office space, a new further education college, 300 apartments and waterfront cafes, bars and restaurants.

The project will also include a riverside walk and the recently renovated Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
