Bury Housing Review Announced

An annual review by the Bury Housing Forum is to be held later this month, the council has announced.

The meeting will take place on Thursday 19 March at the Seedfield Training & Development Centre, Parkinson Lane, Bury.

Council officials have urged tenants and residents from across the borough to attend.

The event has been organised by the Governance, Strategy & Quality Team to allow local people the chance to contribute to the development of housing policy across the borough.

Residents will be provided with a progress report on the delivery of Bury's Housing Strategy, as well as feedback on previous Housing Forum events.

Attendees will also be told how community views have helped shape the council's services, strategies and policies and be given information on the establishment of a new Housing Strategic Partnership Executive.

The event will also feature workshop sessions, which will see local residents put forward ideas to help identify the key housing issues for Bury over the next 12 months.
