The Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) has appointed Michelle Reid as its new Chief Executive.
Making the announcement Sara Thakkar, TPAS Chair said: "Tenant involvement has never been more high profile than it is now and I am pleased to welcome Michelle to head up this important phase for TPAS. Michelle's experience and skills will ensure TPAS continues to be at the forefront of innovation in tenant involvement and empowerment."
Michelle has joined TPAS from George House Trust, the North West HIV charity, where she has been the Chief Executive for the past seven years. Previous to that Michelle has worked in a number of strategic and operational roles within national Housing Associations, with particular expertise in tenant empowerment and supported housing roles.
Michelle said: "I'm delighted to join the team at TPAS. It's an enormously respected organisation which provides such an important service to tenants and landlords in England. It's an honour for me to lead TPAS at this exciting period of its development. I look forward to working with the TPAS staff, members, directors, and partners to build on the achievements of the past, and to work together to respond to the opportunities of the future."
Michelle will take up her post with TPAS in April.
