Galliford Try has also been awarded a £15.8 million contract to develop a Four Star 178-room hotel in Waterloo, the first hotel in the UK for the Spanish based hotel chain, H10. The hotel will incorporate a biomass boiler and is designed to achieve a high level of renewable energy usage and excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. Work is expected to be completed in December 2009.

Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive, commented: "We have extensive experience in working for both the education and hospitality sectors and our construction business in the south has built a number of academies and hotels in the London area. Galliford Try has a wide spectrum of clients across both the public and private sectors and the award of these projects will enhance our presence in these markets for the future."
