Promoting black and minority ethnic (BME) future leaders, the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) has announced it is funding five places for BME staff on this year's National Housing Federation's (NHF) leadership programme, in partnership with Lancaster University Management School.
The NHF Leadership for Housing programme aims to develop the skills of senior managers within the housing sector, developing a new cohort of leaders for the future. The TSA will be offering bursaries for experienced BME future leaders from within the housing movement - offering up to 75% sponsorship per candidate.
TSA Chief Executive Peter Marsh said: "The TSA is proud to be promoting BME staff into leadership and is delighted to be supporting this venture. The programme acts as a springboard for those who have already been identified as potential future leaders of housing associations, so I see this as investing in leadership for the future."
