New Energy From Waste Facility Proposals Available For Viewing

The planning application for a proposed new Energy from Waste facility is available for public viewing.

Lincolnshire County Council's Waste Services Department has submitted the application for assessment and a consultation is now underway, with views invited for formal consideration.

The Lincolnshire Waste Partnership project is aimed at treating Lincolnshire's residual household waste, generating electricity and heat from the waste which would have otherwise gone to landfill.

The planning application, published at the beginning of January, contains details of all the technical studies that have been carried out on the possible impacts and how these should be dealt with. This includes traffic, visual appearance, ecology, air and noise studies.

Hard copies are available for viewing at North Hykeham Town Council offices, North Kesteven District Council offices in Sleaford, and at Lincolnshire County Council’s Spatial Planning department in Witham Park House, Lincoln.
