Willmott Dixon Group's interior design and fit-out business Kanvas has won the contract to transform the London office of one of the largest creators and producers of entertainment brands in the world, responsible for TV hits like Idols, Got Talent and The X Factor.

The interior specialist will refurbish FremantleMedia's office on Stephen Street in W1 over a four month period starting in October and finish in January 2009.

The project will take place in phases and be carried out while staff remain on site. It involves reconfiguring space over three storeys to create new staff breakout rooms and meeting areas, a feature entrance area and new lightning scheme.

Kanvas scooped the contract in competition with other leading interior designers and its in-house design team has been working with FremantleMedia to agree the new office lay-out. Overall, Kanvas will provide a full turnkey service that involves design and project management of the fit-out.
