Rok Signs Agreement With BAA

Rok has signed a new agreement with airport operator BAA.

The five year framework agreement will cover a number of building improvement projects valued between £2m and £20m. The award, which could be worth in the region of £130m, is in addition to the long term framework agreement Rok already has working in BAA's UK airports on smaller improvement works.

The new Commodity Build Framework will cover alterations, refurbishments and building work in service areas as well as those used by the public at Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Southampton, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Garvis Snook, CEO of Rok, said: "We are extremely proud of the work we have done for BAA to date. We have demonstrated our high levels of safety, efficiency and sensitivity to BAA's requirements using our own teams of fully trained technicians. BAA quite rightly sets extremely high standards for its suppliers and we are pleased that we are able to meet and often exceed these. It is great news for all of us that our work has been extended by this new framework."
