Faithful+Gould continues to expand its regeneration portfolio by providing expertise on one of the largest public art initiatives in the world, the £2.7 million Temenos structure in Middlehaven.
Faithful+Gould was appointed by Tees Valley Regeneration (TVR) to provide Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Construction Design Management (CDM) services for the Temenos structure, which is the first of five revolutionary sculptures planned as part of the £15 million Tees Valley Giants programme.
As in most regeneration projects the Temenos scheme will involve Faithful+Gould tailoring a complex blend of skills to combine masterplanning expertise with detailed knowledge of project funding, the political 'climate' and the drivers and constraints which affect both public and private sector bodies, to successfully deliver the scheme on time and to budget.
Mark Hopgood, Regional Director at Faithful+Gould and Project Manager for Temenos, said: "Having been on TVR’s consultants' framework for the past four years, Faithful+Gould has developed an excellent reputation for project managing new and innovative regeneration projects with varying funding streams and public and private sector stakeholders.
"We have developed an excellent working relationship with TVR’s staff and partners who are located only 300 meters away from our Stockton office. This project is particularly significant to Faithful+Gould and we are excited to be a part of regenerating the Tees Valley."
