Lovell has been chosen to carry out a £2.9 million scheme to modernise a tower block in West Bromwich in the West Midlands for management organisation Sandwell Homes.
Lovell will transform Mountford House, in Glover Street, West Bromwich, through the introduction of new external cladding, rendering and roof repairs.
The company will install new windows and carry out work internally including electrical and mechanical work and the fitting of new internal doors.
The 12-month programme of work is set to start in September.
The refurbishment is being carried out under Sandwell Homes' £80 million modernisation programme for high-rise blocks in the area. Lovell is one of a number of partners involved in delivering the improvements.
Residents of Mountford House, who will continue to live in their homes during the construction work, have been closely consulted and involved in planning the improvements.
A Lovell resident liaison officer will be based on site to ensure that the work goes ahead smoothly for tenants.
