St George's Hall Open Full Time After £23m Revamp

St George's Hall Heritage Centre, in Liverpool has recently received a £23 million refurbishment and as a result will now be open seven days a week all year round (except Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day).

Members of the public can now call in and view the building and its numerous exhibits for free from 10am until 5pm, Monday to Sunday.

Liverpool's Lord Mayor Councillor Steve Rotheram, who attends numerous civic functions at St George's Hall, said: "It is absolutely awesome. Every time I enter the building I am blown away by it.

"It is one of the finest buildings in the world and it also forms an integral part of Liverpool's history. We are a much richer city for having such a wonderful centrepiece as St George's Hall."
