Energy consultancy Enact has secured a pioneering partnership with supermarket giant Tesco to manage the new Tesco Home Insulation Service. Together Enact and Tesco's will be creating what is believed to be the first and largest home insulation service of its kind in Great Britain.
The scheme will help Tesco customers reduce their fuel bills whilst supporting their fight against climate change. The Home Insulation Service follows a number of green initiatives from Tesco aimed at helping customers help the environment while cutting down on household expenses.
Andy Brocklehurst, Tesco's Green Living Category Director, said: "At Tesco we recognise that insulation can provide one of the most effective measures in reducing energy usage for our customers, reducing both their household bills and their impact on climate change. We also understand that awareness, trust and complexity have all been barriers to uptake of insulation being as widespread as possible. With this in mind we are delighted to be able to offer this service together with a company of Enacta's experience, expertise and knowledge."
Enact will be providing full customer and works management for the service and will utilise its 11 years of experience in the energy saving industry to ensure Tesco customers enjoy the maximum benefits and service expected of a retailer of Tesco's calibre.
