A series of grants are on offer to enable residents in Wales to reduce their fuel bills and protect the environment.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council has secured, with partners, a number of grants towards the cost of installing eco-features in homes.
The schemes, in partnership with the Local Energy Saving Trust, and EAGA PLC are being delivered and promoted by the authority’s Home Energy Officer, appointed specifically to help residents.
It is hoped the support will enable residents, regardless of their age, income and accommodation status, to introduce measures that conserve fuel consumption and can save them up to £100 a year.
Keryl Lanfear, Home Energy Officer for Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, said: "We are pleased to be able to work with partner agencies to award and promote these important grants.
"Insulation and other energy efficiency measures must be considered by the residents of this county. As well as protecting the environment by reducing fuel consumption, they also have a significant impact on your annual fuel bills.
"There are a range of products and grants available, depending on your age, income and household details. But I remain on hand to provide support and information for all residents to help them take advantage of the initiatives on offer."
