Laing O'Rourke is celebrating as Royal Society for the Prevention Accidents (RoSPA) announced a trio of national Occupational Health and Safety awards to be presented at a ceremony in mid-May.

Demonstrating excellence in work-related health and safety performance, Crown House Technologies, Construction North and the project at Middlesbrough College Campus have each received RoSPA's prestigious Occupational Health & Safety Gold Award.

Having received the award for the 18th consecutive year, Crown House Technologies will also be awarded RoSPA's Order of Distinction. The Order of Distinction is awarded to companies which demonstrate a sustained focus on the safety and well-being of their workforce and have achieved a minimum of 15 consecutive Gold Awards.

David Rawlins, RoSPA Awards Manager said: "Crown House Technologies Ltd has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others. The Middlesbrough College project was the only single project to win a gold award after celebrating three quarters of a million hours worked without a single reportable accident.
