Lovell is set to undertake £18 million of Decent Homes housing refurbishment and other improvement work for Dales Housing and Seven Locks Housing, both members of Acclaim Housing Group.

The company has been selected to carry out a two-year programme of improvements to 1,500 properties managed by Dales Housing in the Derbyshire Dales. The work will vary from home to home, but will include improvements such as the installation of new kitchens, bathrooms, doors and windows as well as roofing work, the installation of new central heating systems and external modernisation work to properties. The homes are in villages throughout the Derbyshire Dales including Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock, Darley Dale, Doveridge and Hathersage.


In Leicestershire, the company will undertake a separate refurbishment contract for Seven Locks Housing to more than 1,040 homes in areas including Market Harborough, Lutterworth, Fleckney and Houghton on the Hill. The work carried out at each property will vary but will include the installation of new kitchens, bathrooms, front and back doors and central heating systems.
