A company director of a construction firm has been charged with manslaughter after a Chinese man died from a fall on a building site in Norwich.
The man, who cannot be named, fell at The Panary in Trowse on January 31, and later died in hospital from his injuries.
Company director of Alcon Construction, Sharaz Butt, was charged with manslaughter and four other offences under the Health & Safety Act 1974 after a joint investigation by Norfolk Constabulary Major Investigation Team and the Health and Safety Executive.
He was released on conditional bail and is to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on 14 May.
