As the £4 million Public Realm improvement scheme in Lincolnshire enters its final stages, work continues to make good progress.

The carriageway is currently being reconstructed and yorkstone setts laid on the parking area outside Danesgate House. Work has also been extended to include the carriageway of Grantham Street and these works should be complete with two weeks.

Work on Grantham Street West replacing the footways is well underway and the area outside The Terrace is almost complete.

Bob Sutton, Construction Manager for Ringway, said: "Work is progressing well and the Upper Cultural Quarter is clearly beginning to take shape. Several areas are now being worked on and this is essential to cope with traffic needing to gain access into this area.

"The access to the Usher Gallery needs to be reconstructed hence the need to divert traffic. We will strive to get the new access operational as soon as possible."
