One of Scotland's largest community regeneration initiatives has won a top accolade at the Flourish Awards.
The regeneration of Oatlands in Glasgow - being led by Gladedale Partnerships in conjunction with Glasgow City Council - is creating a high quality urban neighbourhood comprising of 1,275 homes.
The initiative won the regeneration category in the awards which recognise projects aimed at 'Sustaining physical, social, economic, cultural and environmental regeneration'.
The regeneration is bringing the formerly vibrant Oatlands community back to life and will include 1,062 homes for sale, including a range of apartments and townhouses, and there are also 213 for social rent.
As well as the new housing the initiative is also seeing a £2 million investment in Richmond Park which will be at the heart of the development. There will also be significant road improvements as well as the provision of a range of local facilities including a family pub/restaurant, shops, a community centre and allotment gardens.
