De Montford Uni To Deliver £40m Arts Building

De Montford University has issued a call for prospective project management consultants to help deliver plans for a new arts faculty building at its Leicester City Campus.

The Faculty of Art & Design Building will provide accommodation for the delivery of teaching and learning studios, workshops, offices for academic and support staff and ancillary facilities across a gross internal floor area of 20,000 square metres.

Work is projected to begin in July 2010 and due for completion in July 2012.

A site near to the Soar River is believed to be earmarked for the project which is part of a £330 million redevelopment

The deadline for expressions of interest is 28 April.
