Grangefield Estates has submitted plans for a 4m sq mixed-use development and 300,000 sq ft 'health mall' in Manchester.
The Chancellor Place scheme in Ardwick will also include a hotel, office, leisure space, a 21st Century mill and 2,000 new homes.
The plans have been developed in partnership with Manchester City Council and New East Manchester.
Eddie Smith, Chief Executive at Regeneration Body New East Manchester, said: "The scheme proposed by Grangefield provides the opportunity for the City to continue its growth plan, and it will complement other proposed activity in the area.
"Should the scheme receive planning approval it will generate substantial economic growth in the region's health sector and provide much needed jobs for east Manchester."
