Urban Splash Scoop £70m Contract In Scotland

Developer, Urban Splash has been awarded the £70m contract for the Irvine Bay regeneration project in Scotland.

The plans for the 11-acre site is to develop 300 homes , shops, leisure facilities and commercial workspaces.

Many of the homes will be affordable for first time buyers.

Tom Bloxham, Chairman of Urban Splash, said: "We think the site has amazing potential given its location, the views out to the island of Arran and the beaches running north and south from the tip of the site.

"Being our first site in Scotland, the development is very special for us and hopefully will be the start of a very long term and successful business for Urban Splash in Scotland."
