Bell Equipment UK has delivered five new generation B30D articulated dump trucks to Lancashire-based P. Casey (Plant Hire) Limited.
The deal forms part of Casey's continuing expansion, driven largely by increased demand from customers.
The addition of the new trucks to Casey's catalogue of hire equipment also stays in keeping with the firm's policy of offering only the best and most modern equipment to its large national customer base.
Casey considered several ADT manufacturers before deciding upon the Bells, but the Bell B30Ds were deemed capable of providing the best production figures and fuel-consumption rates for both Casey's customers and its own internal operations. The plant hire company also cited the excellent driver comfort and health and safety benefits of the Bell machines.
P. Casey (Plant Hire) is part of the Casey Group, a multiple division organisation with interests as diverse as building and refurbishment, land reclamation, civil engineering, waste management, plant sales and plant hire.
Graham Gotheridge, general manager of P. Casey (Plant Hire), said: "We have operated dump trucks on various applications over many years and after considering several manufacturers we have concluded that the Bell B30D produces very good production figures and excellent fuel consumption figures which benefit both the other companies within our group and our external customers."
In addition to general plant hire activities for the construction, quarrying, demolition, landfill and recycling industries, P. Casey (Plant Hire) Limited has been appointed as a preferred supplier of earthmoving, crushing and screening equipment hire to ALC for its PFI contract with the British Armed Forces worldwide.
