Thomas Mitchell Group has appointed a regional sales manager for its Timber Frame division in a bid to expand this highly successful part of the business into the South of Scotland.

April Smith, who has worked in the production and sales of timber frame for over 20 years, will adopt the role of regional sales manager covering Argyll, Ayrshire, Dumfries & Galloway, North & South Lanarkshire, West Lothian and Cumbria. April joins the company at a time of rapid expansion and growth for both the Housing and Timber Frame divisions.

April has held senior positions in three private timber manufacturing companies, playing an integral role in their sales and marketing divisions, and has recently completed her own impressive build near Carnwath, South Lanarkshire.

With over 40 years experience, Thomas Mitchell Homes is one of the longest established manufacturers and designers of timber frame in the UK, supplying for self builders, developers and commercial markets.

April joins an expanding team of Regional Sales Managers, with Alex Davidson having recently been appointed as Regional Sales Manager for the North of Scotland.
