Engineering firm Siemens has revealed plans to build a new £40m factory in Lincolnshire.
The new plant will be based on Teal Park next to the A46 in North Hykeham. The company’s Ruston works in Lincoln city centre will also stay open.
Staff at the gas turbine company will be hoping the move will safeguard their jobs, after months of speculation that the company could quit the area.
Siemens currently employs about 2,000 people in Lincoln and is one of the area's largest private sector employers.
