French company Decopierre is to launch five new dealerships throughout the UK.

The wall decoration company is to open up outlets in London, Cornwall, North Wales, Derby and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Decopierre, a wall coating resembling natural stone, is a mixture of crushed limestone and powdered marble, which is then sprayed on to a wall where it is coloured with natural pigments and carved to any shape.

According to the company, their wall coating "can be applied to almost any wall surface, old or new, interior and exterior".

The company, formed in Montpellier, France, is keen to establish a global presence and is currently experiencing successful growth in Europe, America and Africa.

There are already three dealerships up and running in the UK - in Brimingham, Manchester and Cambridge.
