Order! Speaker Opens New Premises For Glasgow Taxis

The speaker of the House of Commons has officially opened a new state of the art headquarters for Glasgow's largest black cab firm.

Glasgow Taxis' new headquarters in Dalmarnock was officially opened by Commons Speaker and Glasgow North East MP Michael Martin, as part of a special ceremony attended by Robert Dunabie, Secretary of Glasgow Taxis and Rok Team Leader John Mitchell.

The firm was forced to vacate its former headquarters in the City's Lawmoor Road earlier this year, after being served with a compulsory purchase order to accommodate the construction of the M74 extension.
