A search is underway to choose a site for a proposed new museum in Inverness.
Public opinion is being sought for the possible venues for the Highland Gallery and Museum, with three sites under consideration.
The Town House car park in Castle Street, the Midmills Buildings and Northern Meeting Park are all in the running.
A presentation will take place in the Town Hall on Wednesday, with leaflets and survey forms also being handed out.
From 15 November to 12 December, plans will then go on view at the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery – which is to be replaced by the proposed new building – and the Eastgate Shopping Centre.

The initiative has been developed by the Highland Gallery and Museum Steering Group.
