Property professionals who are members of Hipag, the Home Information Pack co-operative, have pronounced Hipag a success, despite a few minor teething problems.
Hipag CEO, Rob Hailstone, said: "It was never going to be easy, but the overwhelming response from our members tells us that the introduction of HIPs has gone far more smoothly than anyone expected and is providing dividends even in its present, embryonic form.
"Even when three-bed properties were included, bringing an increase in the volume of HIPs, including a small number of leasehold properties, our members still tell us they found our HIP process easy to use and less daunting than expected. To date we have completed hundreds of HIPs with enquiries and orders rising daily."
Duncan Rawlinson, Solicitor at Dickson Haslam in Preston, commented on the co-operative, saying: "We have found the ordering of HIPs through Hipaq to be quick, easy, trouble free and competitively priced. Hipaq has certainly allayed our initial fears of the unknown."
