This year's JCT Annual Conference will be staged by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors at its headquarters, 12 Great George Street, London, on Wednesday, October 31.

Entitled 'JCT- What’s new?', the theme for the day-long conference is turning collaboration into competitive advantage. An impressive programme has been lined up to address the practical application of the new collaborative forms of contract from the client, consultant, contractor and sub-contractor perspectives.

Chaired by Professor Peter Hibberd, JCT secretary-general, and John Hobson, independent policy analyst and former construction director at the DTI, the conference will look at the application of the new EU compliant JCT Framework Agreement and the recently launched JCT-Constructing Excellence contract.
