Homes and interiors retailer Au Naturale is gearing up for its official move to a new distribution centre on Scotland's leading mixed use business park, at Eurocentral.
As the completion and handover stage of the move begins the Glasgow-based business aims to be fully operational by early 2008.
David Tate, head of property at Au Naturale, said: "We are extremely pleased with both the build quality and the professional and cooperative nature of the design and build team at Eurocentral.
"This move is an integral part of our expansion plans and the new distribution centre will enable us to feed our growing network of retail outlets across the UK."
The new facility, which includes a 14,649 sq m (157,689 sq ft) distribution unit, split into 13,764 sq m (148,160 sq ft) of warehouse and 1,400 sq m (15,077 sq ft) of office space, has been let on a 17 year lease at a rental of £5.25 per sq ft.
Eurocentral Partnership director, Steve Turner, said: “This is the Partnership’s largest design and build project to date and one of which we are immensely proud. Forward funded by Chancery (UK) LLP through a syndicate arranged by CB Richard Ellis, the project has been delivered on time and within budget."
