Jeld-Wen, one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of timber doors, has released a stunning new addition to its range.
The Clifton softwood doorset offers the opportunity to maximise the amount of natural light in a home, without compromising on security.
The Clifton doorset is one of the first volume-produced timber French casement doorsets to achieve PAS 24, which means it is available as a Secured by Design option for developers that recognise the value of enhanced security.
Tony Pell, Product Manager at JELD-WEN, explained: "There is no compromise with the Clifton doorset on style or security. This doorset is ideal for homes with a door leading onto a garden or patio area, but where there may not be the space for a patio door. This stunning doorset is available in a number of classic styles to complement both traditional and contemporary homes."
The Clifton doorset is available in five attractive styles and is produced from engineered knot-free clear timber with a robust 54mm door leaf thickness for enhanced security and thermal performance. Clifton doorsets are supplied with an advanced timber preservative system and with a choice of performance-enhancing base stain or full factory finishing.
Low-E insulating glass units are provided as standard, which have a centre pane value of 1.4W/m2K, as part of increasing a home’s energy efficiency.
