With effect from October 1 2007, CCL Lindab will be known simply as 'Lindab', as part of a final phase of its merger.
Work has already begun on erecting new signs at the company's 25 branches throughout the UK and on a new livery for its large fleet of delivery vehicles.
The move marks the last step in a programme begun a year ago with the acquisition of CCL Veloduct by the Lindab Group of Sweden in a £27 million deal to create a new leader in the ventilation and air movement sector.
Joint Managing Director Geoff Lee stated: "The switch to the simple 'Lindab' branding was always part of the plan, but events have moved faster than we expected. We allowed two years for our UK customer base to become familiar with the new set up and to reassure themselves that products and service would remain at the same high quality level.
"In fact, the transition has gone so smoothly, with so many familiar faces at branch level to maintain continuity, that customer awareness and approval has developed quicker than we dared to hope. They appreciate that we can now offer an even better service. So, we can raise the Lindab flag a whole twelve months ahead of schedule."
