The central belt operations division of Scottish architecture and space planning business Space Solutions has netted contracts worth in excess of £600,000 since the start of the year, prompting a search for larger premises.

The company’s in-house commercial logistics management and furniture installation services have been drawn on by organisations of all shapes and sizes in the past eight months.

Most recently the company secured the contract to install more than 2,500 workstations and 4,000 cabinet modules at Queen Margaret University campus in Edinburgh – believed to be the largest project of its type taking place in Scotland this year.

The influx of new business has seen the division outgrow its premises in Livingston and the search is now on for a new site which is four times the size of the existing one.
