Clyde Valley Housing Association (CVHA), the largest Registered Social Landlord in Lanarkshire, has completed an £80m refinancing deal with a syndicate of Bank of Scotland Corporate and Barclays.
This new deal represents a strategic milestone for the Clyde Valley Group as it positions itself to continue and enhance its role as the leading Social Housing provider and developer in Lanarkshire.
Tom Campbell, chairman of CVHA, said: “This is a tremendous deal for both our organisation and the syndicate of Bank of Scotland Corporate and Barclays. Not only will it allow us to move forward with our ambitious plans for the future, it will enable us to continue investing in current housing stock and providing the best possible homes and services for our tenants.
“We have a great working relationship with both banks and the conclusion of this deal will only assist in strengthening the partnership further.”
Geraint Evans, associate director of Bank of Scotland Housing Finance added: "We are delighted to be able to build on our long term relationship with Clyde Valley, who have been customers since their inception in 1996. The new facility will allow Clyde Valley to significantly grow their business over the next few years and demonstrates our continued support of the Social Housing sector in Scotland."
