In line with the increasing trend towards off-site construction Schiedel have introduced their new Prefabricated Chimney System to complement the popular Swift Chimney System.

The Prefabricated Chimney System is assembled under factory conditions and lifted into a house in sections – reducing the on-site work considerably. The system is delivered to site in 3m sections which are then craned into position. The unique Schiedel locking system then secures the sections in place. The chimney is then finished with a prefabricated stack – further reducing the need for wet trades on the roof.

The back to back chimney version does not breach the party wall avoiding any possible sound and fire transference issues.

As with the Schiedel Swift the Prefabricated solution delivers a well-insulated chimney which is suitable for timber frame, steel frame and masonry construction.
