Consultancy and engineering firms are set to benefit from reliable and up-to-date economic and statistical information on the UK construction industry following the launch this week of a new Quarterly Economic Bulletin by the Association of Consultancy and Engineering (ACE).
The electronic update, to be published every three months by ACE’s economic and policy team, will feature key economic data for the UK to help consultancy and engineering firms keep abreast of market changes and be better equipped to respond to any changes in the economic climate.
The bulletin will also examine UK construction activity and look at detailed forecasts for industry output with explanations of what the figures actually mean for businesses.
ACE Chief Executive Nelson Ogunshakin, said: “Developing ACE as a first-stop resource for construction-related economic data is a key priority. The Quarterly Economic Bulletin is supplementary to ACE’s annual State of Business Report and is an invaluable strategic business planning tool, giving members and key stakeholders the opportunity to make an educated judgement on the direction of the industry.”
