Taylor Wimpey, one of the UK's largest homebuilders, has appointed Andy Wyles as Divisional Managing Director in Scotland.

Mr Wyles, will lead the newly merged company as it aims to meet the future housing needs of communities across the region.

Andy Wyles joined the company in 1979 from college and worked on-site for 10 years as a site engineer. He moved to the regional office and worked within the Partnership and Urban Regeneration division for five years working closely with local authorities, housing associations and Scottish Homes before a move to production and his subsequent promotion to production director.


Before promotion to his current role, Mr Wyles was managing director for George Wimpey East Scotland for 7.5 years. He is a director of Homes for Scotland.
