Leading construction firm Mansell has announced a senior promotion within its Moray office.
Iain Lumsden, 42, has been appointed General Manager of Mansell’s Elgin office, following the successful expansion of the firm’s business activities across the region.
Iain initially joined Mansell in 1993 and since then has held numerous positions within the firm, progressing from a contract surveyor to a project surveyor, before holding various managerial roles.
Most recently Mansell’s commercial manager for the North region, Iain will now head up the firm’s Elgin operation and will continue to develop the firm as the building service provider of choice in the Moray, Northern Aberdeenshire and Inverness areas.
Delighted with his recent promotion, Iain, who stays in Ellon with his wife Jennifer, says he is looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead of him in his new role.
He said: “I am really excited about this great new opportunity and look forward to further developing the existing Elgin business. During my time with Mansell there have been a number of positive advancements within the construction industry and I am relishing the chance to continue to take the firm forward.”
George Hood, Divisional Managing Director at Mansell, added: “I would like to congratulate Iain on his well-deserved promotion and wish him every success in the future.
“Iain has progressed steadily within the firm over the years and has been instrumental in the growth of our business in the North of Scotland. I am confident he will continue to excel in his new role as general manager.”
