Aberdeen-based Active, specialists in air conditioning, ventilation systems and sustainable energy solutions, is celebrating after securing over £3 million of contract wins.
The company, which has recently gone through a rebranding process, has won a number of significant contracts including a project with Morrison Construction. Active are currently installing state of the art air conditioning and ventilation within Wellington House, Aberdeen, as well as providing plumbing services, all worth approximately £450,000.
Ian Nicol, Managing Director, Active, said: “We have grown substantially over recent years and this group of contract wins highlights the company’s continued expansion. Our new look signifies our diversification into sustainable energy practices whilst still building on our existing reputation.”
Colin Milne, Building Services Manager, Morrison Construction, added: “Active has supplied air conditioning and ventilation services for a number of Morrison Construction projects - it is essential our developments have effective heating and cooling systems in place. With a large focus on ensuring offices are as energy efficient as possible, Active makes sure we meet all necessary requirements.”
Active is also celebrating after a member of staff was crowned by Tullos Training as ‘Apprentice of the Year’ – the firm has recruited 6 apprentices this Summer.
