A new concept in plumbing and heating supply has been launched by plumbers merchant William Wilson, designed to provide customers with a simple, hassle free trading experience.
William Wilson Express has been developed as a new business within less than a year by the leading national supplier, headquartered in Aberdeen, which is part of Wolseley UK.
Built around a new, 1,500-item range of products most-needed by installers working around the country, William Wilson Express is now open at three sites in Greater Manchester ahead of a potential launch across the UK.
The new branches bring an economic boost to their local communities through the creation of at least three new jobs at each outlet.
Aimed at a wide range of general trade customers, William Wilson Express complements traditional William Wilson and Plumb Center branches by targeting small, independent tradesman.
Commercial Director Michael Wilson, said competitive pricing rather than brand has guided the establishment of William Wilson Express, with every product price-pointed in its local market.
A new catalogue has been produced for William Wilson Express and staff fronting the pilot branches have an in-depth knowledge of everything on offer thanks to a special sales guide covering the features and benefits of every product.
Full product display areas and working demonstration products, including central heating boilers and radiators, where customers can view the product before they buy are central to each site.
Brand Drector Luisa Campbell, said: “William Wilson Express is an exciting development for us with the potential to open the door to a large, previously un-tapped market for Wolseley UK throughout England and Wales.”
