The one-hour seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the role sealing systems play in passive fire protection. Attendees will gain insight into fire testing standards and forthcoming industry changes, compliant product solutions, specification considerations, and the importance of correct installation and detailing.

Participants who complete the seminar will receive a CPD point towards their ongoing professional development.

The seminar addresses three of the ten mandatory RIBA CPD core curriculum topics required for Chartered Members’ annual 35-hour CPD obligation:

• Legal, regulatory and statutory compliance

• Design, construction and technology

• Health, safety and wellbeing

The launch of the CPD builds upon the wider programme of installer training sessions and toolbox talks already delivered by the FAS team.
