Turner & Townsend Secures Places On UK CPS2 Framework

Turner & Townsend, the global programme management company, has been named to the UK Government Commercial Agency's Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) framework (RM6356), a key procurement route for public sector projects and programmes across the UK.

CPS2 is designed to advance the UK’s green agenda and net-zero objectives by promoting carbon reduction, safer and higher-quality public assets, and more efficient procurement and delivery models across government estates and infrastructure.

Under the framework, the firm will support central government departments, local authorities and organisations in defence, health and education, providing project management, cost and commercial management, programme management, technical advisory, and architectural and engineering services via separate contracts.

Turner & Townsend has been directly appointed to Lot 1 (General Infrastructure & Built Environment), Lot 4 (Commercial Management) and Lot 6 (Defence Enhanced). It will also support delivery on Lot 5 (Defence), which is led by framework partner Mace. This follows its recent selection to Lot 9c of the Environment Agency’s Flood Risk and Asset Management (FRAM) within the same framework.

Chris Sargent, Managing Director of Real Estate, UK, Turner & Townsend, said: "Our appointment to the Construction Professional Services 2 framework marks an important step for the business and reinforces the strength of our public sector experience and capability.

"CPS2 provides a strong platform for us to support government and wider public sector clients in delivering programmes that truly matter, from national infrastructure and defence to education, health and local communities.

"Through this framework we will bring together our programme, commercial, sustainability and digital expertise to help clients maximise value, enhance programme performance and certainty, and accelerate the transition to net zero, while delivering wider social outcomes.

"Above all, it enables us to continue to play a meaningful role in shaping and delivering the UK’s most impactful public sector programmes."
