McLaren Construction's Yorkshire & North East division has earned a place on Lot 2 of the £1.5bn YORbuild Major Works 2 framework, covering projects valued at more than £30 million.
The public sector procurement framework spans the Yorkshire & Humber region, the North East of England, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and parts of Leicestershire. It will run for four years with the option to extend for a further two years, offering a range of major schemes to tender.
Managed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Leeds City Council, the framework provides a compliant, transparent and efficient route to procure significant building works. It is designed to promote value for money, social value, responsible procurement and opportunities for regional supply chains.
Led by Managing Director Andrew Beaumont, the Leeds city centre-based Yorkshire & North East team brings extensive experience, regional insight and proven public sector credentials, positioning it as a strong delivery partner for large-scale projects under the framework.
Andrew Beaumont, Managing Director at McLaren Construction, Yorkshire & North East, said: "Securing a place on the YORbuild Framework is fantastic news for the Yorkshire & North East region and delivers on the strategic objectives we set ourselves in 2025. This strengthens our ability to support public sector organisations and allows us to focus on schemes where we can add genuine value from the outset. It also gives us a platform to demonstrate our commitment to social value, working with the framework’sYOR4Good Fund and YORscep, to create meaningful opportunities for communities and local supply chain partners."
