Caddick Civil Engineering has expanded its leadership team by appointing Lee Brown as Construction Director, a newly created position established to support the firm's growth plans across the North East.

Mr Brown joins the company from N&T Civils, bringing more than 30 years of civil engineering and construction industry experience alongside deep regional knowledge.

He began his career as a joiner working across various disciplines before moving into management roles in his early twenties. His career history includes a 20-year tenure focused on construction at Tilbury Douglas, followed by roles with civil engineering contractors such as Arrowbuild & Civil Engineering Ltd, Applebridge and Tolent.

Operating from Caddick's Durham premises, Mr Brown will leverage his regional experience to strategically increase the company's workload, uncover fresh opportunities and grow its client base throughout the North East.

His core duties will involve overseeing the execution and handover of projects, managing regional supply chains, and coordinating internal personnel alongside external labor resources across multiple live construction sites. His appointment reflects a clear strategy by Caddick Civil Engineering to strengthen its presence and increase its footprint within the expanding regional development and infrastructure market.

Paul Ellenor, Managing Director of Caddick Civil Engineering, said: "Lee's appointment to the team is a significant step forward for our expansion plans in the North East. His extensive experience, in the region and across all aspects of construction and civil engineering, makes him an invaluable addition as we continue to grow our presence and service offering. His leadership will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of our current and future projects, and in expanding our relationships with new and existing clients."

Lee Brown commented: "It's fantastic to be joining Caddick Civil Engineering at a pivotal time for the business. Having previously worked with Paul and knowing his strong work ethic, passion and desire for success, I knew this would be a great opportunity to re-join forces with a trusted colleague. I'm looking forward to working together and using my experience to assist the team in building the business' profile, attracting a diverse range of external clients and delivering high-quality projects."
