Galliford Try has started work on a new building that will replace facilities affected by Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC). During the build, pupils and staff will be accommodated in temporary facilities. The St Francis statue will be carefully re-sited within the building and the wider grounds as part of the project.

The scheme also includes a new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and the restoration of the existing playing field. Measures are in place to protect local ecology throughout construction, and the design adopts materials chosen to complement the neighbouring church and the surrounding woodland setting.
