Morgan Sindall Construction's North West business has received the RoSPA Order of Distinction (18 consecutive Golds) for its health and safety performance during 1 January to 31 December 2025, underlining its long-term commitment to accident prevention.

The 2026 RoSPA Awards celebrate their 70th year. What began as a small UK event honouring companies that prioritise worker safety has grown into the world's largest and most prestigious health and safety awards programme, attracting 2,000 entries from nearly 60 countries.

Entrants range from SMEs to blue-chip organisations. Alongside non-competitive achievement awards — Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit — companies compete for sector accolades across construction, manufacturing, entertainment and more, with judging undertaken by leading experts.

The application process encourages reflective practice and supports continuing professional development, emphasising continual learning to reduce workplace incidents. By receiving a RoSPA Award, Morgan Sindall is part of a longstanding community focused on safeguarding workers and the public.

Julia Small, RoSPA's Growth Director, said: "RoSPA congratulates Morgan Sindall Construction, on their RoSPA Health and Safety Award. The high standards Morgan Sindall has achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which they should be rightfully proud and which RoSPA is delighted to honour. 2026 is a landmark year for the RoSPA Awards as we reflect on how far workplace safety has come in 70 years. It is because of the commitment of health and safety leaders like Morgan Sindall that people today are safer at work than in the past, and sets an inspiring example for the future."

The RoSPA Awards are sponsored by NEBOSH, a leading global organisation that provides internationally recognised health, safety and environmental qualifications. Dee Arp, NEBOSH Chief Quality Officer and the Head Judge of the RoSPA Awards, said: "NEBOSH is proud to be the headline sponsor of the RoSPA Awards. They provide an opportunity to celebrate excellence in health and safety, while also helping to strengthen a culture of care, accountability and continuous improvement. These awards are a powerful reminder that protecting people transcends borders, and that supporting employees to return home safe, healthy and happy each day is fundamental to long-term success and resilience."
