Costain has been appointed to the North West Contractor Framework by Procure Partnerships Framework, managed on behalf of Wirral Council, supports public sector organisations in delivering infrastructure projects from procurement through to completion.
It is accessible to a wide range of public sector bodies across the North West, including government departments, local authorities, schools, housing associations, regulated utilities, and emergency services. Effective from 1 April 2026, the four-year framework carries a total value of £1.2 billion.
Costain has secured positions on Lot 11 and Lot 12 of the framework. Lot 11, valued at £120 million, covers projects between £15 million and £30 million, while Lot 12, with a total estimated value of £144 million, covers projects exceeding £30 million.
The company will leverage its expertise in delivering complex engineering-led solutions across road, rail, integrated transport, energy, water, and defence & nuclear sectors, utilising its Manchester office to support its strong regional presence.
