BAM has completed and handed over the Bedworth Physical Activity Hub, a major community venue aimed at improving health and wellbeing, promoting active lifestyles and offering modern, inclusive spaces for residents.

Delivered for Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, the scheme represents a significant investment in local infrastructure, with versatile, high-quality areas intended for visitors of all ages and abilities, helping to address health inequalities and foster social interaction.

The complex features a 25-metre, eight-lane community swimming pool, a four-court sports hall, a 100-station fitness suite, and additional spaces dedicated to sport, fitness and wellbeing.

During construction, £10.15m was spent with supply chain firms within 30 miles of the site, supporting the local economy. The project generated £9.76m in social value, including 122 weeks of apprenticeship training for seven apprentices, 111 hours of engagement with schools and colleges, and 72 hours of volunteering for community initiatives.
