Westlab, the UK's leading bath salt and mineral wellness brand, has opened a new warehouse and manufacturing hub in Knowsley as it accelerates its growth plans.

The project represents an investment of more than £7.25 million and is expected to create between 40 and 50 new roles, supporting local employment while strengthening the company’s operations.

The 48,000 sq ft facility sits on a secure site of just over three acres and is around 50% larger than Westlab’s previous base in Surrey, significantly broadening its production and logistics footprint.

At the centre of the site is a cutting-edge production line capable of producing up to 100,000 units of bath salt per day. It is supported by a 30,000 sq ft storage area and seven unloading bays to reduce turnaround times and maintain service levels for major retailers in the UK and overseas.

The move has increased Westlab's total output capacity by around 75%, giving the business the scale and agility to meet growing consumer demand and back further product innovation.
